Frequently Asked Questions

How do I affix my mezuzah?   When you receive your mezuzah enclosed will be a booklet explaining the Christian Mezuzah and installation instructions. This mezuzah is self adhering, simply peel the protective paper and attach to the doorpost.

Where do I affix my mezuzah?   Mezuzahs are hung on the right side of a doorway about one third of the way from the top. (Instructions are included.) Mezuzahs are mostly affixed at the entrance to a home or apartment, but they can also be found on doors inside the home, such as bedrooms and dens. Mezuzahs can also be found on doorways to offices and work areas and also on vehicles.

Is this an idol?   No, even in the Hebrew faith it is not thought of or used that way, it is a simple reminder of ones devotion to God. When passing a mezuzah one might touch it and say "May God keep my going out and my coming in from now on and ever more."

Is the Christian Mezuzah available in other languages?   Yes, click here to find out more.
